The next FREE Science on the Shore event, entitled “BMP Lite: Easy BMPs for Landowners – Helping Mother Nature Do What She Does Best”, will feature a presentations by Jay Ford (Virginia Eastern Shorekeeper), Peter Henderson (Director, VA Eastern Shore Land Trust), Dorothy Field (VA DCR/Division of Natural Heritage), Virginia Witmer (VA Coastal Zone Management Program), and Nick DiPasquale (Director of the Chesapeake Bay Program). Presenters will share information about practical steps that can be taken to reduce impacts on the Chesapeake Bay.

The presentation will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2015, starting at 6:00 pm at the Eastern Shore Community College Great Hall at 29300 Lankford Hwy, Melfa, VA 23410.
