The next FREE Science on the Shore event, sponsored by the Virginia Space Flight Academy, TEC Foundation, the NASA Visitor Center, and the Marine Science Consortium, entitled “Build Your Own Robot”, will be Saturday, January 26th, from 9 am to 12 noon at the Marine Science Consortium Education Center. Robots will be built by teams of at least two children and one or more adults and will compete in a course designed to simulate some of the challenges NASA faces when sending rovers to Mars.
