The Wallops Beach Cleanup was held on Saturday, September 26. Twenty-one volunteers collected approximately 917 pounds of trash. This event is part of the international Coastal Cleanup held each September. Annually, hundreds of thousands of people from more than 75 countries remove millions of pounds of trash from waterways all over the world.
